THE POEM THAT WAS AWARDED THE FIRST PRIZE:
From a little ant,
swept easily by wind
or blowing dust,
the defeated learn the lesson
it tries...and tries
it never grows bored
unless repetition does
Its kingdom is always
rich with fruit
being stored for a coming stormy day
burdened by heavy clouds
as it continues restlessly
to move around, with no hesitation
is it wise to follow its trail...
true, it is quite small
but its actions define persistence
